Salmon farming company Loch Duart, which posted a surge in profits in its latest financial year, is launching a new campaign in 2018 to fight food fraud. The Sutherland-based producer, a winner at this year's Made in Scotland Awards , has teamed up Oritain, an expert in scientifically proving the origin of food products. From next year, Oritain will provide Loch Duart with an independent "food fingerprinting" service to help protect the brand.
