| Abstract: | Opposition members on Wednesday demanded a provision of life imprisonment for those selling adulterated food and juices. The issue was raised by Amit Deshmukh, Congress member in the state Assembly through a calling attention notice. Deshmukh said the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) during an inspection in the city recently found that the majority of the samples of lemon and sugarcane juices being sold in the open were adulterated. |
