RAB mobile team in a drive during Holy month of Ramzan raided vermicelli factories at unhygienic condition in Kamrangirchar area, sealed two factories and realised Taka seven lakh as fine for producing adulterated goods on Thursday. Staff reporter : Several teams of law enforcing agencies, including Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), will conduct drives against food adulteration and extra price for sale of beef and other commodities during the month of Ramzan. The executive magistrates will lead the law enforcers in detecting the spurious and adulterated food items, sources said. The motive of the drive is to ensure formalin free jackfruits, green mangoes, ripe bells, watermelons and bananas in the markets. |
