Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Authority on Tuesday sealed a famous brand's distribution outlet over noncompliance with food safety standards. Director General KP Food Authority Riaz Khan Mahsud while commenting the operations said that before Ramazan crackdowns are geared up to kick out fake food handlers and to ensure provision of safe and Healthy food to general public. He further said that in last two weeks more than fifteen cold drinks productions units have been sealed across all seven districts of the province during which more than 0.15 million liters of fake cold drinks discarded."Those involved in counterfeit cold drinks business would be brought to justice. Public has the trust of the food authority and they can identify such sites where adulteration occurs," the director general maintained. Director Operations Khalid Khan Khattak giving details said that food authority teams got information that noodles of a company contain china salt which is banned by the apex court. |
