Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority discarded thirty-five hundred liters of adulterated milk in a snap checking at Peshawar Motorway Toll Plaza at 04:00 am this morning PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Apr, 2019 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority discarded thirty-five hundred liters of adulterated milk in a snap checking at Peshawar Motorway Toll Plaza at 04:00 am this morning. While checking the heavy and passengers' vehicles, a quantity of thousand liters of counterfeit cold drinks has also been discarded. Director General (DG) Food Authority Riaz Khan Mahsud while appreciating the crackdown told that his staff has an eye on all entrances and exits of the province and squads of the authority are always ready to respond to any public complaint. He added that provision of safe and healthy food to general public is the mandate of food authority and such crackdowns would always continue until the end of food adulteration. |
