Pulses, milk products and chilli powder were found adulterated when samples collected from 22 locations in Angul were analysed Friday. Some more food products have been sent for laboratory tests, officers said. It has been alleged that food adulteration is rampant in Angul town. Bowing to the demands for an inspection, food samples collected from various hotels and grocery shops were sent to a mobile food testing laboratory. First, pulses, milk products, oil and spices were tested and they were found to be adulterated. |
