| Abstract: | Revellers are being warned about fake alcohol as they attend New Year's Eve parties. Criminals sell counterfeit vodka, whisky, brandy and gin to local shopkeepers who can make a tidy profit. But this alcohol can be dangerous – it can blind, cause organ damage and even be fatal. It can contain damaging chemicals found in cleaning fluid, nail polish remover, paint stripper, petrol, drain cleaner and antifreeze. |
