Abstract: Trond Williksen is stepping down as CEO of Norwegian farmer SalMar, a few days after links emerged between the company and an executive accused of salmon smuggling in China. In a message to Undercurrent News, Williksen denied the China story has anything to do with his departure, however. "SalMar has completed a period of record results, and we have delivered a  considerable amount of value creation to the company's shareholders. I have had  a fantastic time in the company," he said, in a statement. "The task of heading SalMar is exciting but is also demanding.
