| Abstract: | Those adulterating food, will now be facing with stricter punishment. According to a Times of India report, Maharashtra will be amending the Food Adulteration Act, so that those who are indulging in the crime, can face a longer jail term and stricter punishment. Currently under the law, those guilty, faces jail between six months and a year. The offence is also bailable. |
