AgriLabel is a research project financially supported by the Walloon Region since 2011. The main objective is to help local producers to obtain official quality labels for their products, which present particular characteristics. These products adhere to a precise set of specifications and are recognised either at European scale (Protected Designation of Origin, Protected Geographical Indication and Traditional Speciality Guaranteed) or at regional scale (differentiated quality system). For this project, applied research is conducted in Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (Laboratoire Qualite et Securite des Produits Agroalimentaires). |
