In a midnight swoop to check the sale of spurious sale of paneer and milk, teams of the food safety and dairy development, accompanied with Patiala police, raided two dairies located in villages Sangatpur Bhonki and Khokh in the sub division. The raid was started at midnight and continued till 4 am. The teams seized the stock suspected to be spurious from Basant milk collection centre at village Sangatpura Bhonki and Deep Dairy at village Khokh. The raiding teams were led by District Health Officer, Dr Krishan Singh, Patiala Food Safety Officer, Puneet Sharma and Dr Ashok Rauni of the Diary Development Department. The teams were assisted by the members of progressive diary farmers association as well. |
