| Abstract: | Big Four firm PwC has created an “invisible barcode” which can detect fake steaks. Thanks to the firm’s latest technology, consumers will be able to see how the animal was raised, what it ate and where it was processed through their smartphone. PwC is due to launch this detector in Australia and China over the next year, after an initial trial with Australian beef producer Vic’s Premium Quality Meat. |
