China’s role in the production of America’s food supply has been receiving increased scrutiny with in-depth documentaries investigating America’s food sources and congressional debates over a Chinese company’s potential acquisition of America’s largest pork producer. China is the third largest agricultural importer into the United States, but regularly tops U.S. headlines for widespread food contamination issues.
